Wait, what?
Ok, this Kerrang! CD has got me conflicted. I mean, I can't seek out and get a CD which has Fightstar doing a cover of Deftones (or has any Fightstar track on it at all), but on the other hand, I can't not seek out and get a CD which has Dillinger Escape Plan covering Soundgarden's Jesus Christ Pose. That threatens to be the coolest thing ever. Maybe I can just take a nail to the Fightstar sections.

Dillinger Escape Plan will release the track as a b-side or what-not, eventually.

it's cause chester fucked his voice, all the songs on it are mellow apart from one song which seems like an angry 15 emo kid wrote it. also the fact that they all seem to far up there own asses now

Get it, record the tracks you want to your computer and hide the original cd under your bed, or destroy it if you so wish. Make your own cd with whatever tracks you want!

I think that is an acceptable compromise.

I don't need to run, I have no intention of buying anything with Fightstar on it. I'm not sure if I've ever even heard Fightstar, I don't understand why they exist but I'm sure they shouldn't.

At least the Fighstar cover pays respect to the original. And I actually like Fightstar.

However, some of the other songs on this make me want to find the bands responsible and just.....urrrrh..............vomit into a hammer shaped mould, freeze it, and BEAT THEM TO DEATH WITH A HAMMER OF PUKE!

(I mean, 36 Crazyfists covering Digging The Grave? That in itself is blasphemous. Not to mention Still Remains doing NIN or Avenged Sevenfold's horrible version of Walk...)

The only decent song on it is NOFX's cover of Straight Edge, which came out ooh, 15 years ago? Fuck that shit, y'all.
